People rely on telehealth because they can't physically get from their homes to the clinic. We're working with transportation engineers and researchers at the University of Texas at Austin to develop methods of transportation that can assist communities that aren't able to bridge the physical gap on their own.
One telehealth appointment is cheaper than one in-person appointment. But over time, the long-term costs of telehealth can begin to add up. We're developing methods of providing families in need with financial assistance to lower the barrier between their healthcare needs and in-person care.
The ACES Initiative works with local communities to help provide support. Our outreach work helps to spread awareness about our support systems to underserved families and communities.
The ACES Initiative relies on our team of dedicated volunteers and interns to keep operations running. We welcome volunteers with backgrounds and interests in any field!
